Karunashraya offers palliative care for pain relief and symptomatic management for patients nearing end of life. The word palliation is derived from the latin word "pallium" meaning cloak or cover. In palliative care, distressing symptoms are covered with treatment, whose primary main is to make patients comfortable. Palliative care requires integrated intervention by doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and counselors. We need your support for the medicines provided to the patients. It costs Rupees fifteen thousand per day, as the cost of the medicines for palliative care is highly expensive. Hence request you to support one day's expenses towards medicine for our cancer patients.
